PROFESSIONAL CREDITS

Melody Saunders, born in Phoenix, AZ, grew up in Los Angeles, CA, where she attended The Art Center College Of Design in Pasadena. After receiving her degree in photography, she began her freelance career , landing clients such as New West and Big Beautiful Woman Magazine, The L.A. Times, Billboard, Variety, The Breeze (California Yacht Club), and Currents (Marina City Club) Magazine. She was the photographer for the Portland Creative Conference in Portland Oregon for the twelve years of its run. Her clients were varied, including many theatrical agencies, businesses, PR evens, fund raisers, opera and symphony organizations, and private portraits.

She has photographed many interesting people, including Gus Van Sant, Ray Bolger, Dinah Shore, Dick Clark, Richard Simmons, Gary Larson, Anthony Quinn, Mr. Blackwell, Dick Van Dyke, Hal Linden, Barry Morse, Prince Mohammed of Jordan, Pat Boone, Chuck Jones, Martin Sheen, Grace-Lee Whitney, Matt Groening, David Carradine, Will Vinton, Ed McMahan, Florence Henderson, Lyle Alzado, Terry Porter, and Jerome Kersey.
